The Briars play area consultation

We have a great collection of parks and open spaces. These are an important part of what makes Guildford a green and family friendly borough. We've been allocated funding from local development to improve the playground at Dan's Meadow (The Briars).

We've created a draft design for a safari-themed playground and want to hear your thoughts on the design and equipment choices. The new playground will be bigger than the current one, featuring a fenced area for younger kids and spreading further into the site. Whether you use the park now or not, we'd love to hear your views.

The Consultation is now closed.

What happens after the consultations closes?

We'll review the feedback and make any amendments to the plans where possible and within budget.

We'll also publish the consultation findings and we'll also let you know how we are acting on the results of the consultation.

The improvement work to the playground is likely to take place over the winter/spring 2024/5.
