View your council tax, benefit or business rates account
For council tax and business rates, once you have been through a short registration process you can:
- log in at a time that suits you - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- view account balances, see what you've paid and when
- sign up for paperless e-billing and receive email alerts when your bill is available online
- change payment method or bank details, and set up a Direct Debit
- request a copy bill
- upload documents
For housing benefit and council tax support, you can:
- see the status of your claim and entitlement
- see when your next Housing Benefit payment is due and the amount
- view your benefit notifications
- report a change
- upload documents
You'll just need to:
- sign up for a MyGuildford account
- once you're signed up, sign into your new MyGuildford account and click the 'Business Rates', 'Council Tax' or 'Benefits' tile
- follow the on-screen instructions (you'll need your council tax or business rates account number, which can be found on your latest bill, or your National Insurance number for benefits)
- your account is validated and you can now access your account
With a MyGuildford Account you can also:
- check your bin collection day
- pay your council tax or business rates
- manage your council services including missed bins and bulky waste orders
- get a quicker response to your requests, track the progress of your requests, and get information based on your address
