Safer Guildford Partnership

The Safer Guildford Partnership (SGP) is a Community Safety Partnership with membership from a wide range of partners. The SGP is a statutory partnership with its roles and responsibilities set out in the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (opens new window). 

Key objectives of the Safer Guildford Partnership

• share information
• identify local priorities
• coordinate a planned response to prevent:
  • crime
  • disorder
  • anti-social behaviour
  • reoffending in the borough

The Safer Guildford Partnership priorities 2021-24 are to:

• raise awareness of Domestic Abuse and the support available
• reduce and prevent community harm
• protect people from serious harm such as terrorism, organised crime and youth violence
• raise awareness of the community support available to those facing community safety issues
• assist in the local Coronavirus (Covid 19) response to vulnerable people

Safer Guildford Partnership action plan 2022-23

The SGP action plan uses the experience and knowledge of local partners. The action plan is agreed by the Safer Guildford Partnership Executive. 

The SGP action plan has an annual action plan which responds to current issues. Operational groups support the delivery of the plan. These groups use a problem-solving approach to address key issues.
