A one off hire charge is £196.00.
Annual hire charge (maximum of 25 launches) is £708.00.

Penalty for launching without prior permission is £280.00 per launch.

Operators of passenger balloons must be licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority and should be able to produce an Air Operator's Certificate number. This means they are fully qualified to carry out flights and their balloons and procedures are maintained to a high standard and are fully insured.

You will need to attach copies of your risk assessment covering all aspects from arriving on site, refuelling, inflation and take off, public liability insurance and certificate of aviation insurance on this form. Please note each document has a maximum file size of 1.66MB and the total file size of all documents attached to this form must not exceed 5MB. Failure to comply may result in the Council refusing to grant permission for your event.

1. The one off hire charge is £196.00.
2. We understand that weather conditions and sunrise and sunset time have a major impact on your ability to launch but we need you to provide information on your expected launch plans.

Annual hire details
1. An annual hire agreement runs from 1 April to 31 March. It allows you to launch 25 times a year and costs £708.00. If you would like to launch more than 25 times, please contact parks@guildford.gov.uk.
2. The following dates are not available due to other sporting or public events:

4. Please email your regular bookings update sheets by email to parks@guildford.gov.uk if your estimated dates change. This will also help us to provide you with as much notice as possible if dates become unavailable. Please don't include any personal details.
